Poland's Climate Ministry called to drop wolf proverbs — it was a deliberate "provocation"
Poland's Ministry of Climate and Environment proposed dropping popular wolf-related proverbs, such as "człowiek człowiekowi wilkiem" (man is wolf to man) and "nie wywołuj wilka z lasu" (don't call the wolf from the forest). The move sparked controversy, and ministry spokesman Marek Pogorzelski clarified it was a deliberate "intellectual provocation" intended to draw attention to the serious issue of wolf conservation in Poland.
