China secretly trained ~200 Russian soldiers, some deployed to Ukraine front – report

German newspaper Die Welt reports that the Chinese military secretly trained around 200 Russian soldiers, some of whom were subsequently deployed to the front in Ukraine. Beijing strongly denies any such military cooperation. Expert Krzysztof Karwowski says China's goal is to gain from Russia practical knowledge of how Chinese military technology performs in real combat conditions.
