Belgium thrash USA 4-1 to knock co-hosts out of World Cup

The USA were knocked out of the World Cup after a heavy 4-1 defeat to Belgium in Seattle. Folarin Balogun, reinstated after his red-card suspension was overturned, failed to make an impact. Belgium advance to the quarterfinals, where they will face Spain.
