Zelensky Wants Ukraine to Produce Patriots Locally; Interceptor Missiles Running Low
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Ukraine's air defences shot down nearly all incoming Russian Kalibr missiles, but a critical shortage of interceptor missiles remains a major problem. Zelensky urged Western allies to urgently deliver weapons and called on the US to grant Ukraine a licence to domestically manufacture Patriot systems. He argued that Ukraine has long proved its defence capabilities and is ready to produce advanced weapons systems itself.
