Double Fine and Compulsion Games Leave Xbox with Full IP Rights to Their Games

Double Fine, developer of Psychonauts 2, and Compulsion Games, studio behind South of Midnight, have left Microsoft's Xbox first-party umbrella after seven years and publicly thanked the company. Both studios confirmed they have retained full intellectual property rights to their game franchises. Double Fine keeps Psychonauts, Keeper and Kiln, while Compulsion Games retains We Happy Few and South of Midnight.
