Judge dismisses plagiarism lawsuit against Taylor Swift with prejudice

US District Judge Aileen Cannon dismissed with prejudice a plagiarism lawsuit filed 14 months ago by a little-known Florida poet who claimed Taylor Swift copied phrases from her poems in more than a dozen songs. The ruling came just three days after Swift's marriage to Travis Kelce. The dismissal with prejudice means the case cannot be refiled.
