Braun Suspended from EU Parliament and Fined for Insulting EU Foreign Policy Chief
European Parliament President Roberta Metsola announced on Tuesday financial and disciplinary sanctions against Polish MEP Grzegorz Braun for publicly insulting the EU's foreign policy chief. Braun has been barred from plenary sessions and stripped of part of his salary. It is the latest in a series of penalties imposed on the controversial politician in the European Parliament.
