Braun loses MEP allowance and banned from EU defence committee for 20 days

European Parliament President Roberta Metsola has sanctioned MEP Grzegorz Braun for insulting EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas. Braun will forfeit his daily allowance for two days and is banned from the Security and Defence Committee for 20 days. This is not the first time the Polish far-right MEP has been penalised by the European Parliament.
