Typhoon Maysak Kills Two and Forces Mass Evacuations in Southern China

Typhoon Maysak killed two people in Nanning, Guangxi province, and caused dam breaches and extreme flooding in southern China. Tens of thousands of residents were forced to evacuate as the storm moved inland after battering Vietnam and Hainan island over the weekend. Meteorologists warn that heavy rainfall is expected to continue in the coming days as the typhoon weakens inland.
