Chinese Expansion Costs Poland 500 Jobs a Day and €11.4bn a Year

A report by the Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers and the Centre for Eastern Studies found that European industry lost €87 billion in added value to Chinese competition in 2024, with Poland's indirect losses reaching €11.4 billion. That translates to approximately 500 jobs lost per day in Poland. Experts warn of a "new wave of Chinese expansion" on European markets.
