Producer Juan de Dios Larraín urges Sundance to become a distribution platform like Karlovy Vary

Chilean producer Juan de Dios Larraín, co-creator of the direct-to-audience platform Pijama with his brother Pablo Larraín, spoke at KVIFF Industry Days in Karlovy Vary. He argued that film festivals can no longer simply launch films — they must help them find audiences. He held up Karlovy Vary as a model and called on Sundance to follow the same path.
