Ukrainian drones strike Russia's largest oil refinery in Omsk, sparking major fire

Ukrainian drones struck the Omsk oil refinery in Siberia on Monday — Russia's largest, owned by Gazprom and processing over 22 million tonnes of oil per year. Ukraine's General Staff said the ELOU-AVT-11 primary oil processing unit, with a design capacity of 8.4 million tonnes per year, was hit. Videos showing a large fire and thick smoke appeared on social media; the refinery is located more than 2,500 kilometres from the front line.
