UOKiK wins against Kaufland — court upholds 13.2 million złoty fine

A Polish court has upheld the UOKiK president's decision and confirmed a 13.2 million złoty fine against the Kaufland supermarket chain for misleading consumers. The ruling ends a legal battle between Kaufland and the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) with a clear win for the regulator. It is one of the higher fines imposed on a retail chain by UOKiK in recent years.
