Electric anti-aircraft drone smashes world speed record at 434 mph

A German firm's electric interceptor drone has broken the world air speed record for electric drones, reaching 434 mph (698 km/h) and surpassing the previous record of 409 mph. The craft was designed for anti-aircraft interception roles. The company plans to seek official Guinness World Records certification.
