Russian Tu-142 drops sonar buoys near British carrier HMS Prince of Wales on North Sea

A Russian Tu-142 maritime patrol aircraft approached the British carrier HMS Prince of Wales in the North Sea and dropped sonar buoys. The Royal Navy scrambled fighter jets in response to the incident. British officials described the Russian conduct as "dangerous and unprofessional."
