Wildfires in French Pyrenees force thousands to evacuate after burning 11,000 acres

Wildfires raging in the Pyrenees region of southwest France, near the border with Spain, have forced thousands of people to evacuate their homes. The blaze has already scorched more than 11,000 acres (approximately 4,450 hectares). Emergency services are battling the fire in challenging terrain.
