Slovak PM Fico blasts EU for Russophobia, opposes military aid to Ukraine
Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico sharply criticised the European Union for its confrontational stance toward Russia and what he called "Russophobia" at a ceremony marking Saints Cyril and Methodius Day. He called for unity between East and West and reiterated Bratislava's opposition to further military aid for Ukraine. The event was closed to the public, with only selected diplomats and politicians in attendance.
