Vitalik Buterin: Ethereum's biggest overhaul since the Merge will take 3–4 years

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin has announced the network will undergo its biggest protocol overhaul since the Merge, with nearly every core component to be rebuilt over the next three to four years. The upgrade will prioritise quantum safety and user privacy. Buterin described the process as Ethereum "reinventing itself."
