Red flags at over 140 Baltic beaches ban swimming due to high waves and strong currents

On Monday 6 July, red flags banning swimming were hoisted at over 140 Baltic Sea beaches in Poland. The Polish Press Agency reported that the cause is high waves, strong winds and powerful rip currents. Swimmers are urged to strictly observe the ban due to the dangerous conditions.
