Professor warns: biology makes pregnancy significantly harder after 40

The average age at which Polish women have their first child has risen to around 29.5 years, but doctors are warning that delaying motherhood carries real medical risks. One in five Polish couples already struggles with infertility, and physicians report rising rates of hormonal disorders, endometriosis and polycystic ovary syndrome. A professor stresses that despite growing health awareness, biology cannot be outsmarted.
