NASA tests fast all-terrain rover prototype built for rough planetary surfaces
NASA is testing a new prototype rover designed to traverse rough, obstacle-strewn planetary surfaces at much higher speeds than conventional rovers. Traditional rovers must move slowly to avoid breakdowns on hard terrain, significantly limiting exploration range. The new prototype aims to overcome that constraint and accelerate the study of other planets.
