Cheap Chinese parcels era ends – handling fee possible from November

New EU rules that took effect recently have eliminated the customs exemption for packages from outside the EU worth up to €150, ending the era of cheap Chinese online orders. Starting in November, an additional handling fee for third-country parcels may also come into force. Shoppers on platforms such as Temu and Shein face noticeably higher costs as a result.
