Lukashenko: Belarus Won't Back Down, But Doesn't Want to Fight

Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko declared that Belarus is a "peaceful people" that does not want to fight, but will not bow before any enemy. He criticised the European Union for fuelling what he called "absurd hysteria" over the threat from Russia. Lukashenko also claimed that an unnamed international "war party" is seeking to prolong the armed conflict in Ukraine.
