Cassini recorded plasma waves between Saturn and Enceladus in its final mission phase

Just before its mission ended in 2017, NASA's Cassini spacecraft captured unique plasma wave signals travelling between Saturn and its moon Enceladus during the mission's Grand Finale phase. The recordings have enabled scientists to study previously unknown dynamics of the Saturn–Enceladus system. The findings offer new insights into the electromagnetic processes in Saturn's magnetosphere.
