Poland Lost €11.4 Billion in Economic Value Due to Chinese Industrial Competition
Economists from ZPP and OSW calculated that Chinese industrial policy caused European industry to lose €87 billion in value added, with Poland's direct and indirect losses amounting to €11.4 billion. Beijing's strategy of subsidising domestic production for export was identified as the key driver. The findings highlight the scale of economic damage that Chinese competition is inflicting on Polish industry.
