Sikorski on Russian assurances: "They said the same before invading Ukraine"

Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski dismissed Russian assurances that Moscow has no plans to attack NATO states, noting that the Kremlin used the exact same language in the weeks before its 2022 invasion of Ukraine. His comments came amid Western media reports of possible Russian provocations against NATO's eastern flank, including Poland. The Kremlin has called those reports "scare tactics."
