Neurosurgeons billed up to 26,000 zł per hour — medical council reports them

Poland's Supreme Medical Council (NIL) has reported to the Professional Liability Ombudsman neurosurgeons who allegedly overbilled hospitals. According to the National Health Fund (NFZ), the doctors performed short, lower-cost procedures but billed them as more expensive ones, earning up to 26,000 zł per hour.
