Purple textile bags and mobile collection points replace trips to Polish waste centres

Polish municipalities are rolling out new solutions to ease the collection of worn clothing and textiles, as separate textile waste collection has become mandatory in 2025. Cities are introducing purple bags collected from doorsteps and mobile waste collection points that travel to residents. As a result, people no longer need to make separate trips to stationary waste centres.
