Wizz Air and Ryanair mass-cancel flights from Italy — Polish tourists stranded for second day
Polish tourists in Italy were caught off guard at the start of the summer holidays as Wizz Air, Ryanair and numerous other carriers were forced to mass-cancel flights due to circumstances beyond their control. The disruptions have continued for a second consecutive day, affecting many travellers trying to return to Poland. While the airlines are not directly at fault, passengers are entitled to care and reimbursement under EU rules.
