Offensive Warsaw landmarks renamed on Google Maps by kids, not foreign hackers
Deputy Minister of Digitisation Dariusz Standerski said on "Onet Rano" that offensive name changes to Warsaw landmarks on Google Maps — such as "Pałac Kibolski" — were the work of young internet users, not a foreign state cyberattack or organised hacking operation. He described the consequences of the incident as serious. Standerski also criticised presidential minister Marcin Przydacz's behaviour, calling it "embarrassing."
