Tons of fish die in Bóbr river after Tauron reservoir release — PiS demands resignations
Dozens of tonnes of fish died in the Bóbr river in Lower Silesia after Tauron Ekoenergia released water from the Pilchowice reservoir to enable repairs to the dam. PiS deputy chairman Przemysław Czarnek and Lower Silesian MPs from the party are demanding explanations from the Ministry of Climate and Tauron, as well as ministerial resignations. The incident has triggered a sharp political reaction from the opposition.
