Neurosurgeons billed hospitals up to 300,000 zł for a single day's work

A neurosurgeons' company operating across several Polish provinces billed hospitals up to 300,000 zł for a single day's work and as much as 26,000 zł per hour, according to an investigation by Wirtualna Polska. The surgeons allegedly performed procedures lasting only a few minutes while reporting far more expensive and complex medical procedures to maximise payouts.
