Euclid space telescope spots oldest quasars ever observed

The European space telescope Euclid has identified the oldest quasars ever observed, objects that emit enormous amounts of energy from the early universe. The observations allow astronomers to study how the first galaxies formed. Quasars are rare but provide uniquely valuable data about the cosmos shortly after the Big Bang.
