EasyJet Accepts Castlelake's £5 Billion-Plus Takeover Bid in Principle

EasyJet has agreed in principle to a takeover bid worth more than £5 billion from US investment firm Castlelake. The deal comes as the UK budget airline was struggling with soaring jet fuel prices and suppressed travel demand following the Iran war.
