AI falsely reported Trump's death – the source was a Reddit post
AI language models falsely reported the death of Donald Trump, having drawn on a Reddit forum discussion as their source. Dr Mateusz Łabuz of the University of Hamburg told PAP that AI models favour forum posts because they sound natural. The incident highlights the disinformation risks posed by large language models trained on unverified online content.
