Google's new Android app verification rules won't apply to LineageOS users

The LineageOS team has confirmed that Google's new Android developer verification and sideloading rules will not affect their users. The new verification system applies only to certified Android devices running Google Mobile Services (GMS), while LineageOS does not undergo Google certification and does not include Play Services or the Play Store by default.
