Poland's GUS surveys households on spending and hands out envelopes

Surveyors from Poland's Central Statistical Office (GUS) are knocking on doors as part of the Household Budget Survey. They ask residents about receipts and spending habits. Participation is voluntary and households are selected by random draw; those who take part receive a cash envelope upon completion.
