Poland's New Waste Law Could Push Up Shop Prices
The Polish government is revising a draft law on Extended Producer Responsibility (UC100), which would make manufacturers cover the costs of packaging waste management. Business groups warn the regulation could significantly raise costs and push up retail prices. The draft has been amended following feedback from government ministries and is awaiting an update at the Government Legislation Centre.
