HBO Max's Harry Potter producer moves to Netflix for major new project
The producer behind HBO Max's Harry Potter series has joined Netflix to work on a major new project. Netflix had come close to acquiring Warner Bros. Discovery — even publishing promotional art combining Harry Potter and Stranger Things — but the deal ultimately fell through, with Paramount set to acquire WBD instead. Despite missing the full acquisition, Netflix has secured a key creative talent from the Wizarding World franchise.
