Gauff beats Bencic just before midnight to reach Wimbledon quarter-finals

Coco Gauff defeated Belinda Bencic in three sets to advance to the Wimbledon quarter-finals, with the match finishing just before midnight Polish time. Despite a difficult recent run of form, Gauff has a chance to return to the WTA top three. Earlier in the weekend, world number two Aryna Sabalenka and two other former finalists had also been eliminated.
