EasyJet reaches preliminary takeover agreement with Castlelake

Budget airline EasyJet has reached an "agreement in principle" over a potential takeover by US investment firm Castlelake. The airline had previously rejected four separate takeover bids from Castlelake before reaching this preliminary deal. Financial terms of the agreement have not yet been disclosed.
