Poland to build 45 truck de-icing ramps at motorway service areas

Deputy Infrastructure Minister Stanisław Bukowiec has signed off on plans to build 45 truck de-icing and snow-removal ramps at service areas along Poland's motorways and expressways. The GDDKiA investment is designed to stop dangerous chunks of ice falling from lorries onto other road users.
