Poland's €20bn submarine deal pointless without cruise missiles, expert warns

Poland plans to buy three submarines for nearly 20 billion zloty in the biggest such procurement in 40 years. However, Commander Dura warns that without cruise missiles on board, the purchase loses its main strategic purpose — the submarines would be unable to strike targets deep inland from the Baltic Sea. He is calling for the order to be urgently supplemented with missile armaments.
