Col. Urszula Tauer "Ala", Warsaw Uprising courier, dies aged 105

Colonel Urszula Tauer, known by her wartime codename "Ala", has died at the age of 105. She served as an intelligence officer in the Home Army (AK) and as a courier during the Warsaw Uprising. During the Nazi occupation she carried out secret missions inside the Third Reich.
