Orbán files constitutional amendment to replace Hungary's president Sulyok
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has filed a constitutional amendment aimed at replacing the country's president. Incumbent President Tamás Sulyok has said he will not resign — his term does not end until 2029. Orbán is using the constitutional amendment as a tool to circumvent the president's refusal to step down.
