Expert warns: without raising retirement age, pensions will fall further behind wages

Poland's labour minister has declared there will be no increase in the retirement age during her term. However, economic commentator Kamil Fejfer, writing for money.pl, warns that demographic trends and the structure of the pension system make a reckoning unavoidable: without longer working lives, pensions will shrink relative to wages or budget subsidies will balloon.
