Solar panels on railway tracks – Swiss startup Sun-Ways tests the innovation

Swiss startup Sun-Ways has developed a system for installing photovoltaic panels directly on railway tracks, addressing the land-use problem that limits traditional solar farms. EU countries, the United States and Australia are also exploring unconventional locations for solar panels. The approach could significantly expand solar energy capacity without requiring additional land.
