Vingegaard takes Tour de France yellow jersey after Barcelona team time trial

Jonas Vingegaard led Visma-Lease a Bike to the fastest time in stage one of the Tour de France — a 19.6-km team time trial in Barcelona — to take the yellow jersey. His team finished 12 seconds ahead of rivals including four-time Tour winner Tadej Pogačar. Vingegaard previously won the race in 2022 and 2023.
