"Children of Blood and Bone" author Tomi Adeyemi cuts ties with Paramount film adaptation

Author Tomi Adeyemi has publicly distanced herself from Paramount's upcoming 2027 film adaptation of her bestselling novel "Children of Blood and Bone". In a TikTok post, she stated she will not watch the film and can no longer endure being "attacked". Adeyemi had been involved in the production as both a screenwriter and producer, but has now cut all ties with the project.
