Sony allows disc game orders beyond 2028 — but only for pre-cutoff releases

Sony has told developers they can still order physical disc copies of games beyond January 2028, but only if the game's release date falls before the company's cutoff. Titles launching after that deadline will not be eligible for disc production. The move effectively limits new physical releases to games already in the pipeline before the cutoff.
